Have you been experiencing slow internet recently? Perhaps experienced a loss of connection? Time for some troubleshooting to determine what is going on and what the next steps to get you back up and running may be! Please take screenshots or notes of any error messages you may have seen.

What this service includes:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing all issues related to the customer concern/request

  • Recommendations for any possible upgrades to network equipment that may be needed for improved signal and/or strength

    • If necessary, communicating with your internet provider on your behalf

  • Presenting to you:

    • Diagnosis​, game plan and steps needed to correct the issue

    • Price estimate on any components, software, or cabling that may be needed

What this service does not include:

Internet router

Apple/Mac: Do you service these?

At this time, Tech This, LLC is not certified to handle hardware or warranty repairs on Apple products. We can assist you with any software/operating system issues you may be having.

 

What happens if a virus is found?

We'll notify you, and let you decide if you would like our Malware Cleanup and Removal Service.

I'm not really sure what the problem is, can you still help me?

Absolutely! It is helpful to have screenshots of any error messages you receive as well as any additional details you can provide (i.e. what you were trying to do when you experienced the issue).

My computer is very old, can you help me?

We'll certainly give it our best! It is important to note that repairing an older computer can sometimes become more costly than replacing it all together as hardware upgrades may be needed in order to achieve the desired result.

How long does the diagnostic process take?

It can potentially take a couple of hours or more depending on the issues being experienced. We charge one flat diagnostic fee, and if it takes longer you are not incurring additional charges.

What if I decide not to fix my computer?

There are no additional costs besides the diagnostics charge. You'll still be presented with what is needed. It is recommended to complete the repairs promptly to avoid any potential further damage.

 

If the computer is determined to be not fixable, we can assist with secure recycling (free of charge), transferring of data to an external device, a cloud service, or replacement computer, building a new PC or simply giving you your device back to do with as you choose.

Do you ever complete repairs without my approval?

Absolutely not. The diagnostic service stops with the presentation of what is needed and we will not proceed any further without your approval to do so.
